Gas Grill Regulators, Hoses & Regulator Kits
A worn or incorrect gas regulator is one of the most common causes of a weak, uneven, or yellow flame on a gas grill. We carry genuine OEM propane (LP) and natural gas (NG) regulators, hose assemblies, and regulator kits for premium outdoor grills, including Fire Magic, Coyote, Twin Eagles, Delta Heat, Bull, Cal Flame, Lion, Napoleon, SunStone, and Allegra.

Propane (LP) vs. Natural Gas (NG) Regulators
Propane and natural gas are delivered at different pressures, so each fuel needs its own regulator. LP regulators usually come with a hose that connects to your propane tank. NG regulators are typically installed at the grill's gas inlet and connect to your home's gas line. Some grills use a convertible regulator that can be set for either fuel, such as the Fire Magic PR-4 and the Coyote LP/NG inline convertible regulator.
Choosing the Right Regulator
- Match your fuel type. Never use an LP regulator on a natural gas grill or the reverse.
- Match your grill brand and series. Regulators are built for the pressure and fittings of specific grills, so check the compatible models listed on each product.
- Check your grill's BTU rating. Some high-output grills need a two-stage regulator. For example, Fire Magic recommends its two-stage propane regulator (5110-15) for grills rated at 90,000 BTUs or more.
- Replace the hose if it's cracked, stiff, or damaged. Many of our LP regulators include a new hose.
Safety First
After installing any regulator or hose, check every connection for leaks by brushing on a soapy water solution with the gas on and burners off. Bubbles mean a leak: turn off the gas and tighten or replace the connection before lighting the grill. Natural gas lines and fuel conversions should be installed by a licensed plumber or certified gas technician.
